"There is one body and one Spirit–just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call–one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." --Ephesians 4:4-6
Despite what many may say and claim, there is only One Lord, One God, and there is only One Way, Jesus Christ!

Heretics
My Colorado pastor and his wife in posted this video to their Facebook pages. It's about 8 minutes long or so, but as my pastor back in Colorado notes, the enemy is crafty. Don't just take everything someone says regarding Scripture at face value. Search the Scriptures and study them yourself. How else will you know if you are being deceived if you yourself are not studying the Scriptures? Bible study is so critical and we all need to be studying our Bibles more and more. This video is proof of that.

My King...
Preaching a sermon, S.M. Lockeridge described his King. It's is a fairly well known sermon/portion of a sermon. I cannot remember if I have posted it here before, but I was listening to it again, found a little video for it on YouTube, and figured it is worth posting. I urge you to check it out and then pray that we all would know Christ in such a deep and personal manner as is described.

It's Been A While...Again
One of these days I may get used to this blogging thing, but the chances of that actually happening may be slim to none. Although I will have some time coming up this summer, so who knows. MAYBE someone should hold me accountable to writing/posting/doing something on here at least a couple of times a week. Anyway, final's weeks is upon us here at DTS. Last night, 4 hours was spent studying the Jonah 1-4 in Hebrew for our Hebrew final that is on Tuesday. Today, almost 4.5 hours was spent completing a Church History final. Thankfully, we are allowed to take that as a group. I highly emphasize group learning and discussion. I know it helps me to learn a lot more. It's cool how someone can say one thing and it will completely jog your memory and you will be able to remember a LOT of things you thought you had forgotten. So now, the plan is to work more on Hebrew, finish a paper for my Greek class, and then read some books that need to be read by Thursday. A busy few days ahead, but it's all good! God has taught me a Lot this semester and in ways that I never would have expected. I realize more and more that I am nowhere close to where God wants me to be spiritually. I chalk a lot of that up to flat out rebellion and complacency in my own life, which I know is terrible. I would rather admit it, confess it, repent of it, and seek God though, than to sit and hide it. I struggle, as does everyone else. Maybe we need to admit that to more people. Anyways, check out the video below. I kind of made the lyrics to the chorus a prayer of mine as our church headed into our GROW weekend a couple of weeks ago. Listen to it and hopefully it speaks to you as well. And please, pray for me, because I don't want to just go through the motions. I want to have the deep personal relationship with Jesus where I want nothing but HIM and HIM alone!
